It is my great pleasure to invite you to the 2010 Gynecological Oncology Congress of Chinese Medical Association (CGO 2010), jointly organized by the Chinese Society of Gynecological Oncology (CSGO), the Chinese Medical Association (CMA) and International Federation ofGynecological Oncology (FIGO). The meeting will be held from October 28-31, 2010 in Shanghai, China. This is the first meeting ever organized by FIGO in China and will therefore represent a unique opportunity for an exchange of experiences between gynecologic oncologists from every part of the world. The scientific program will cover a wide array of topics in gynecological oncology, and will incorporate plenary and state-of-the-art special lectures, free communications and poster sessions, etc. The invited speakers include a number of world renowned specialists and scientists in the field, and outstanding young researchers as well. They will share with all the colleagues their latest research findings and clinical experiences.
The congress will also have a distinct Chinese feature. Special lectures on epidemiology of gynecological cancer in China and satellite symposium on Traditional Chinese Medicine will be arranged at the congress. The organizers expect to set in motion more exchanges and collaborations between Chinese and international colleagues.
Shanghai is one of the largest and fastest-growing cities in China, with a colourful past and a vital present, where East meets West, where cultures and peoples cross paths, creating an everlasting dazzling contrast.
The Congress is scheduled during the World Exposition, so that you can get the opportunity to enjoy the grand gathering with other 70 million participants from about 200 countries. There is no doubt the Chinese people will present to the world a successful and splendid exposition. I believe this trip to Shanghai and Shanghai Expo will be an unforgettable experience for you.
