10th Anniversary Symposium: Women’s Health Through the Life Cycle: the Asia Perspectives. Hong Kong

Women in Eastern and South-East Asia alone accounts for about 30% of the world’s 3.4 billion women population. Despite geographic proximity, women across Asia exhibited distinct characteristics and experiences on health with variations in culture, health and reproductive practices, and access to healthcare. This 10th Anniversary Symposium organized by our Centre of Research and Promotion of Women’s Health is dedicated for updating knowledge, and for cross-cultural discussion of research efforts on addressing the needs and challenges faced by women in Asia.

Distinguished international and local scholars will share their insights on contemporary issues and other hot issues spanning over women’s life stages, from physical, reproductive, mental health, to treatment guidelines, and influence of media and spirituality on health.

This Symposium will present a unique opportunity to establish international communication and to sustain cutting-edge research across women’s health continuum. It is our mission to foster collaboration across disciplines and borders to develop transformative solutions for improving women’s health.
