Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Organising Committee, we are pleased to announce that the 11th Annual Congress of APAGE will be held between 29 and 30 September 2010 in Singapore. The congress venue is at the beautiful resort hotel, Capella Singapore, in Sentosa Island. In addition, there will be a pre-Congress Robotic Surgery Workshop on 28 September and a post-Congress Advanced Laparoscopy Workshop with live-surgery on 1 and 2 October 2010.
This congress is jointly organized by the O&G Society of Singapore in-conjunction with the College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists and KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital. The theme of the congress is “Gynae Endoscopy: From Basic to Advance”.
With a carefully planned scientific programme, we aim to spread the art of Minimally Invasive Surgery as well as to advance the level of expertise in endoscopic surgery. Some of the highlights of the programme include single incision laparoscopy, advances in vessel sealing technology, robotic surgery, and advanced oncologic, pelvic support and endometriosis surgery.
Singapore is conveniently located and easily accessible in Asia Pacific region. Recently opened tourist attractions include the Resort World Sentosa and Universal Studio in Sentosa Island, which is where the conference is held. Culturally diversified, modern and vibrant. Singapore has plenty to offer to all delegates to explore the city and attractions.
